All workers who will be exposed to levels of Asbestos to perform Class I-IV work must undergo training before assignment.  Liability is created when you have workers or HVAC Professionals that may not be aware of their exposure levels when working on HVAC & Boiler Systems in older buildings.  Often times facilities like office buildings, multi family buildings and other commercial properties may or may not have had an Asbestos Management Plan in place but due to transfer of ownership and lost records often times the dangers are unknown.  So regardless of work classifications Employers, Building Owners and Property Managers need to be aware of the dangers and liabilities that may be looming.
