Managing Contractors Using Certified Inspections. Is it worth it?

Managing contractors can be over whelming. Especially when you've got them telling you the job is complete over the phone and demanding payment. Only to find out that when you get there the job is not 100% complete and the contractor makes the excuse that they've only got a day or two left on the job and for you not to worry. Or, for those of you that are investing from hundreds or thousands of miles away they send you doctors photos of a stages completion only for you to have to pay someone else to go after them to complete the job or worse yet to rip out the job and do it over again.

The experts at Pre Closing Inspection know the horrors of construction and project management because we have had countless real estate investors call is to inspect "scope of work"complaints. This usually happens after the fact when the investor is furious and pursuing legal action. All of this can be avoided. We actually offer project management. We normally charge 30% if the total project cost. This is all part of our construction planning and Budgeting report.

This process allows you to test assured that all of the material and work for the job will be completed according to the exact scope of work with change orders being directed up the chain of command to you the customer so you're up to speed with any and all circumstances that may affect the scope of work.
